In Class Reading Post
Today we read an article in class about how UC Berkeley gave it's incoming freshmen class to option to donate some of their cells to the university and they would receive information about their tolerance for alcohol, if there were lactose intolerant and their need for folic acid. This program caused a huge uprising in criticism toward the school and the program was eventually canceled. I don't really see the big deal about all of this genetic testing they were doing because all of the test sample were willingly given to the university for that specific purpose.
